Wanda Maney

Wanda Gail Maney, age 66 of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her home. Wanda was born November 4, 1954 in Hayesville, North Carolina to the late Ernest and Pearl (Canup) Monkus.
Wanda was of the Baptist faith. She was a simple woman who loved to spend time with her family and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a cook for many years and enjoyed going bowling with her husband. In her down time she liked to watch The Golden Girls or Roseanne on TV.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kelly Monkus; sisters, Linda Phillips and Lois (Buelle) Long. She is survived in death by her husband of almost 51 years, Larry Maney; daughter, Misty (Shannon) Garrison; son, Jamie (Jodie) Maney; brothers, Owen (Virginia) Monkus and Allen (Bonnie) Monkus; brother in law, Troy Phillips; grandchildren; Casey and Cody Garrison, Cameron and Chase Maney; many nieces and nephews.
