Obituary

Sharon Skiver Price, age 74, of Mt. Dora, Florida, passed away Thursday July 23, 2020. Sharon was born on August 10, 1945 to the late Mr. Earl Weldon and Edna Earl (Martin) Skiver in Ironten, Ohio. She was of the Baptist faith. Strong is not a big enough word to do her justice, she was in fact strong, but she was also determined and a fighter. She had an infectious laugh that you could not ignore and never passed up a good adventure. To be honest she often was the leader of the adventures. She was always up for a cocktail, loved to dance whether it was in the middle of a store or on a dance floor but everyone could agree that shopping was at the top of her list of "hobbies"! Sharon was beautiful inside and out, an amazing mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. Sharon worked at Manheim Auto Auction for 32 years where her colleagues became part of her family, many of them considering her their "work mom". She was an amazing person who greeted you with open arms and made you feel comfortable and loved. Sharon loved life, her family and her friends. She touched the lives of each person she came in contact with and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Price, brothers Pete Downo, Martin Skiver, sisters Billy Earl and Betty Jo. Sharon is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws Martin and Candace Christian, Timothy and Dee Christian, James and Debbie Christian; son Dean Price; brothers Marvin Skiver and James Skiver; sister Faye Skiver; sister and brother in law Sherry and Stephen Davis nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a  late date. Until we meet again, dance on, laugh loud, be adventurous and love people like Sharon did!
