Marion Kenney

Marion Ann Kenney, age 74, of Hiawassee passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Marion was born on August 1, 1947 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Opal (Wheeler) Walls in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a dedicated member of Macedonia Baptist Church and a member of the Towns County Historical Society. Marion was a branch manager  for Allen Insurance for many years and just recently retired. She was a God fearing woman, a hard worker and would give to anyone in need. She enjoyed going to Georgia football games in her younger years - Go Dawgs! She is preceded in death by her above mentioned parents. She is survived by her brother, Rickie Walls; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Don McGregor; nephews, Chris Walls and Scott Donaldson; niece and husband, Tracy and Brandon Kitchens; great niece and nephew, Abby and Caleb Kitchens; and a host of friends.

Visitation: Friday, August 13, 2021 from 12:00-2:00P at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.

Service: Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2:00P in the chapel of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Lott  and Rev. Doug Chatham officiating.

Interment to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
