Iris Jean Herold

Mrs. Iris Jean Herold, age 89 of Hiawassee Georgia passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. Iris was born on December 17, 1931 to the late Rome and Ora (Greathouse) Hughes in Charleston, West Virginia. She was a beautician for over twenty years; she loved to read, and travel. She especially enjoyed fishing in the Florida Keys where they lived for twelve years before moving to the mountains where they have lived for the past forty years. She leaves behind her husband of fifty-four years Mr. Bill Herold; her five grandsons Mickey Noe and wife Stacy Noe, Shane Noe, Jason Noe and wife Holly Noe, Bill Noe and wife Alexis Noe, and Brian Noe and wife Crystal Noe. 
She is preceded in death by two sons Gary Noe and Michael Noe.
