Wilma Brown Ash

Wilma Brown Ash, age 87 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Wilma was born July 9, 1938 in Rockmart, Georgia to the late John Rondal and Bessie (Holland) Brown. She was a member of Old Union Baptist Church. She worked as a Librarian for Mountain Regional Library for many years. She was also involved with the Towns County food pantry, member of the Retired Educators Association, and drove the Book Mobile for a number of years. She was a strong willed, practical and very smart lady who loved church, reading and most of all her grand babies. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon (Rod) Ash; sister, Dorothy Stephens; nephew, Jamie Brown. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Kim) Ash, John Ash; brother, Brownie Brown; grandsons, Dale Ash, C.J. Ash; nephew, Greg Stephens.

Graveside service will be Friday, November 28, 2025 at 1:00pm at Old Union Baptist Church cemetery.
