Willie M Spivey

Mrs. Willie Mae Spivey, age 89 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Friday, May 08, 2009 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Gather and Oma (Burrell) Foster on October 22, 1919 in Towns County, GA. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Troy Spivey, of Hiawassee, GA; her son, Mr. Chester White, of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Mr. Truman Foster, of Hiawassee, GA; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Denton, of Hiawassee, GA; Ree Wiland, of Hayesville, NC; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Burrell and Rev. Terry Eller officiating. Pallbearers were Gary Denton, Jeremy Denton, Wes Denton, Jerry Lee Eller, Gerald Foster and Chad Jones. Interment was in Mt Zion Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
