William Fred Martin

Mr. William Fred Martin, age 78 of Hayesville, NC passed away on Monday, December 9, 2014 following a brief illness. He was born to the late William Albert and Lexie (Huskins) Martin on October 07, 1936 in Hayesville, NC. He is survived by his wife, Frances Martin, of Hayesville, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at Old Brasstown Church in Young Harris GA.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Stiles and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Pallbearers were: Salvador Manero, Charlie Brown, Donnie Martin, Dan Chastain, Donald Brown and Tommy Moore. Interment was in Meadow Grove cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
