William W Berrong

Mr. William Wayne Berrong, age 87 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on June 09, 2010 at his home. He was born to the late Sanford and Anna (Eller) Berrong on April 09, 1923 in Hiawassee, GA. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Lou Berrong and Renee' Michelle Berrong, and a son, Denver Berrong. He is survived by his wife, Donnie Berrong of the home, daughter, Audry Berrong Simpson, of Monroe, GA; sons, Hugh Berrong and Greg Berrong, both of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Edwin Berrong, of Hiawassee, GA; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 12N from Upper Hightower Baptist with Rev. Dewayne Beck and Rev. Terry Eller officiating. Music was provided by Regina Putnam. Pallbearers were: Leon Berrong, DeWitt Berrong, Lonzo Berrong, Roger Hicks and Donald Hicks. Interment was in Upper Hightower Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
