Willard W. "Will" Reinhardt, Jr.

Mr. Willard W. “Will” Reinhardt, Jr. age 77 of Hayesville, NC passed away  following a sudden illness. He was born to the late Willard W.  and Pearl (Hyden) Reinhardt, Sr. in Atlanta, GA and was raised in Miami, FL. He leaves his loving wife, Laura (Chavez) Reinhardt of the Hayesville, NC; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Buddy Atchison; Linda and Leon James; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tricia Reinhardt; and son, Jon Reinhardt; a half-sister, Jane Marie Rogers; grandchildren, Liana James, Lauren James, Joss Reinhardt, Jr. James, Tracy James and Jessica Rutledge. He loved to take long driving trips and  he loved his cars. He loved the mountains and enjoyed boating on the lake.  He made friends for life. He was a member of White Temple Methodist Church in Miami, FL and also a member of Sharp Memorial UMC in Young Harris, GA and was active within the Sharp Memorial UMC men. He was honorably discharged from the US Army and Coast Guard Reserves. He graduated from Young Harris College in the 1950’s.  The family received friends from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 08, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 09, 2012 at 9:00 AM from Sharp Memorial UMC with Rev. David Tinsley and Rev. Darris Baker officiating. Music was provided by Pam Leslie, Joy Breedlove and Cody Killian. Interment was in Laurel Hills Memory Garden cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA in charge of arrangements.
