Vonzo Edwards

Vonzo Edwards, age 86, of Covington, GA passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 following a brief illness. He was born March 12, 1928 to the late Harv and Quie(Shook) Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Mary Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Angie Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Jackie Edwards; brother, Ward Edwards; sisters, Lucille Childers and Bonnie Mae Kellie; grandchildren, Nathan Edwards, Lisa Edwards, Kelli Everritt, Charlie Edwards, Jared Edwards, Nick Edwards, Christopher Edwards, Jordan Campbell, Joey Dispain and Brittany Cleveland; six great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with the funeral at 2:00 PM from the chapel at Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Interment followed at Burch Cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA in charge of arrangements.
