Vinson E Henderson

Mr. Vinson Edwin Henderson, age 70 of Young Harris, GA, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Willie and Selma (Early) Henderson on February 16, 1941 in Blairsville, GA. He was preceded in death by his son; Jeff Henderson and his brother, Troy Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Henderson, of Young Harris, GA; sons, Tony Henderson, of Blairsville, GA; Kenny Henderson, of Young Harris, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Monkus, of Warne, NC; Zella Mae and Noel Barnard, of Young Harris, GA; Linda and Jerry Miller, of Hayesville, NC; Gwen and Phil Denton, of Hiawassee, GA; four grandchildren, Gracen, Zion Paul, Kendall and Keenan Henderson and a number of nieces and nephews; Brother-in-law Arnold Monkus and Sister-in-law Judy Henderson also survive. Graveside services were held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:30AM from Many Forks Baptist Church with ,Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Pallbearers were: Terry Henderson, Rickey Mull, Eric Mulkey, Scott Lockaby, Byron Harper, Danny Barnard, Mickey Denton and Scott Denton. Honorary pallbearers were: Roy Lockaby Jr. and Ralph Lovell. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee entrusted with arrangements.
