Vadie Lee Cothern

Vadie Lee Hooper Cothren, age 88, of  Marion, NC passed away on March 03, 2012. She was born to the late Grover and Eve (Nichols) Hooper on August 09, 1923 in Young Harris, GA. She is survived by her grandson and his wife, randy and Stephanie Mull, of Marion, NC; two great grandchildren, Kendall and Keilyn Mull, also on Marion, NC; and a host of cousin, friends, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March, 06, 2012 at 11:00 AM from West Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Pallbearers were: Carol Parker,  James Hooper, Wes Hooper, Gary Hooper, David Brown and John Southern. Honorary pallbearers were: Brian Underwood and Phillip Brown. Interment was in West Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements
