Tony Fred "Lightbulb" Powell, age 66, of Young Harris, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 after an extended illness. He was born on April 6, 1958 in Pickens, South Carolina to the late Weldon and Lillian (Dyer) Powell. Lightbulb, a dump truck driver for most of his adult life, loved all things dump truck related. He also enjoyed driving his race cars and watching NASCAR.
He is preceded in death by his above mentioned parents. He leaves behind his aunt, Linda Matheson; cousins, Michael Matheson and Ricky Dyer; along with a host of extended family and friends. Lightbulb will be deeply missed.
Graveside services: Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2:00P at West Union Baptist Church
