Thomas R Penland, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Robert Penland, Sr. age 64 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on March 21, 2011 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Robert D. and Dorothy (Conard) Penland on January 31, 1947 in Miami, FL. He is survived by two step-daughters, Tassendra and Madelyn Penland, both of FL; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas & Heather Penland, Jr, of FL; grandson, Harley Penland, of FL; brother, William E. Penland, of FL; sister, Cora Reynolds, of Baldwin, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
