Terry Lee Austin

Terry Lee Austin, age 84, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Born in Minneapolis, Kansas, on April 22, 1942, he was the son of the late Leo and Majorie (Fagan) Austin.

Terry was a spiritual and uplifting presence, known for offering a positive word and a warm smile to his friends. He recently celebrated 40 years of sobriety, a testament to his strength and dedication.

Upon moving to the mountains of North Georgia, he often shared that he felt he had truly come home.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Darin Austin and Tobie Sepulvda and his brothers Roy, Lester, and Gordon Austin, as well as many friends and extended family members. His absence will be felt by many.
