Sarah Fae Berrong

Sarah Fae Berrong, age 70, of Hiawassee, GA, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at her home following an extended battle with cancer. She was born to the late John and Edwina (Dennis) Nerren on November 15, 1943 in Ft. White, FL. She is survived by her husband, James Cecil (J.C.) Berrong, of Hiawassee, GA; son Michael Ray Lovins, Albany, GA; daughter Vickie Lynn Berrong of Lilburn, GA; Ceci Berrong Drawdy and husband Niles Wallis; grandchildren, Ethan and Joy Drawdy, Emmie Wallis, Lilburn, GA; sister, Frances Roberts and her husband Fred of Old Town, FL; brother Dennis Lovell and wife Angela of Albany, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on January 11th at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee with Rev. Jimmy McAdams officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm prior to the service at the church. Music was provided by Lenan James, Wayne Huntley and Bill Mohrbutter. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations and contributions be made to McConnell Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
