Mr. Sandy Donald Wood, age 45 of Dahlonega, GA passed away June 02, 2011 at his fathers home in Hiawassee, GA. He was preceded in death by Virginia Dawn Wood and Barbara Thompson Wood. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wood, of Dahlonega, GA; father, Harry Wood, of Hiawassee, GA; son, Josh Hale; brother, Randy Wood, of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Pam Kitchens, of Murphy, NC; step-children, Larry and Candy Bennett, of Cumming, GA; Amanda Finley, of Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Trenton Finley, Colbie Gaddis, Payge Brown, Gracie Bennett and Lillian Bennett. He was born on October 11, 1965 to father Harry Wood and late Barbara (Thompson) Wood in Hiawassee, GA. A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00AM from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Ledford and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating.
