Mrs. Sandra Kay Byers, age 62 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Sunday, November 07, 2010 at her residence. She was born to Virgil and Annie Ruth ( Nicholson) Berrong on July 27, 1948 in Murphy, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Nichols, of Hiawassee, GA; sons, Mark Byers, Justin Byers, and Dewayne Foster, all of Hiawassee, GA; brothers, Gary Berrong and Mike Berrong both of Hiawassee, GA; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. No services are scheduled at this time. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
