Samuel J Moss

Mr. Samuel James Moss, age 56 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on April 08, 2009 at his home. He was born to the late Gerald and Ruby (Huckason) on July 16, 1952 in Clay County, NC. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Audrie and Stacey White, of Hiawassee, GA; Brittany Moss and Craig Sullivan, of Hayesville, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Elton Moss, of Hayesville, NC; son, Zachary Moss, of Hiawassee, GA; brothers, William Moss, of High Point, NC, Willis Moss, Dewayne "Peanut" Moss, Jerome Moss all of Hiawassee, GA; sisters, Tammy Sharp and Vicky Moss, both of High Point, NC; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Burrell and officiating. Pallbearers were: Stacey White, Dylan White, Michael Moss, Ricky Arrowood, Jamie Moore and Mark Silvers. Interment was in Betha Bara cemetery in Hayesville, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Betha Bara Church in Hayesville, NC. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
