Roy Clark Shook

Mr. Roy Clark Shook, age 84 of Elberton, GA passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Abbey Hospice. He was born to the late Edwin and Clara (Galloway) Shook on December 1, 1941 in Hiawassee, GA.

After graduating High School, he joined the United States Navy from 1961-1965. He retired from Coca Cola Company as a driver. He spent many years working as a truck driver as it was his passion. He was very proud of trucking 8 million miles in his career.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, wife Janice "Janie" Shook, son Michael, brothers- Edwin, Doyle, Dawes, Jerry and Paul.

He survived by daughters Tina (Dane) Renta and Jennifer Weever, sons Chris Shook, Johnny (Kristy) Pattillo and Greg Shook, one brother Kimsey (Deborah) Shook, one sister Rowena. 8 grandchildren, Charles (Desiree) Pierson, Kristen Lewis, Diego Alcantar, Kody (Angelica) Alcantar, Fidel Alcantar Jr., Courtney Pattillo, Savannah Pattillo, Kaycee Pattillo, 9 great-grandchildren Damian, Liliana, Kaytlin, Jayda, Wayne, Riley, Saige, Lance and Athena, many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Dewy Rose, Georgia.
