Ross W Marshall

Mr. Ross Marshall, age 81, of Young Harris, GA passed away on Thursday, August 04, 2011 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late William E. and Hettie (Emerson) Marshall of July 20, 1930 in Young Harris, GA. He was a lifetime member of Woods Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Marshall, of Young Harris, GA; daughters, Debbie Roberts, of Young Harris, GA; Connie Cunningham, of Alpharetta, GA; sons Mike Marshall, of Hiawassee, GA; Steve Marshall, of Young Harris, GA; brothers Ralph Marshall, of Young Harris, GA; John Marshall, of Murphy, NC; sister, Edith Moreland, Hiawassee, GA; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Marshall were held on Sunday, August 07, 2011 at 2:00PM from Woods Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Burch, Rev. Richard Robinson and Rev. Scott Sims officiating. Pallbearers included, Matthew Roberts, Andrew Cunningham, Jordan Marshall, Seth Marshall, Jason King and Floyd Marshall, Jr. Interment was in Woods Grove Baptist Church. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
