Roland Kenley Oakes

Mr. Roland Kenley Oakes, age 70 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. He was born to the late Roland and Marjorie (White) Oakes on March 21, 1945 in Montpelier, VT. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed. He is survived by his children; sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick Oakes and Lisa Partin of Young Harris, GA, Todd and Lisa Oakes of Young Harris, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jim Weyandt of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Sierra Oakes, Alexis Oakes, Garrett Oakes, Kyle Oakes, Angel Moss, Michael Moss and Alisa Moss. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
