Robbie Lee Berrong

Robbie Lee Berrong, age 87, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on November 9, 2015. She was born on January 03,1928 in Hiawassee, Georgia. She is survived by her, daughters Polly Cothren of Cornelia, GA, Patsy King of Blairsville, GA, Peggy Giles of Clarksville, GA, Pam Garrett of Hiawassee, GA, and Phyllis Prince of Blairsville, GA; son, Jr. Berrong of Young Harris, GA; sister-in-law, Ollie Parton, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Neverett Berrong, grandson, Jason Cothren, granddaughter, Lisa Marie Stokes, and great-great grandson, Cade Marshall. The family received friends from 10AM - 2 PM at Banister Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Services were held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clark Moss and Rev. Bradley Thomas officiating. Interment followed at Macedonia Baptist church cemetery. Music was provided by Lexie King and Lanae Cheeks. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
