Ricky Samuel Franks, age 60, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born to the late Mr and Mrs Otis and Mable (Wheeler) Franks on January 9, 1963 in Hiawassee, Georgia. Ricky was a member of Lower Hightower Baptist Church, owned and operated his business, Franks Auto, for 24 years and loved building race car motors. He was a hard working, good man.

He is preceded in death by his above mentioned parents and a sister, Rachel Nicholson. He leaves behind the love of his life, Sonya Nicholson; daughters, Dwana Gibson, Cala Franks, Jamie Williams and Brittany Harkins; brother, Ronny Franks; sisters, Katie Colvin, Kathy (David) Simmons, and Rita Cross; grandchildren, Abigail, Alannah and Brayden Gibson, Dominic and Brooklyn Franks and Hadley Williams. Ricky also leaves behind many friends and extended relatives.

Pallbearers: Royce Nicholson, James Cowart, Mark Allen, Curtis Denton, Anthony Coleman and Mark Phillips.

Visitation: Thursday, March 30, 2023 5:00P-8:00P at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home

Funeral: Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00PM at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home

Interment: Lower Hightower Baptist Church
