Richard Clay Dickerson

Mr. Richard Clay Dickerson, age 69, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on March 9, 2017 at his home. Richard was born in Sacramento, California on May 29, 1947 to the late Ditzler Mansfield and Elizabeth (Miller) Dickerson. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife  of almost 30 years, Sue Dickerson. Sue is an employee of Hiawassee Ingles Deli. He is also survived by his children, Ricky Dickerson, Sky Dickerson, Rocky Dickerson, Kasey Dickerson, Cody Dickerson, Jessica Latuch, Lance Dickerson and Damon Dickerson (Latuch); a number of grandchildren and friends also survive. His wake, a Celebration of Life in his memory will be held at 1293 Taylor Rd. Hiawassee, Georgia 30546 on March 26, 2017 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
