Rhea M Kimsey

Mrs. Rhea Kimsey age 89 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2007 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late John A. and Emily (Teem) Moore on May 19, 1918 in Towns County, GA; She is survived by daughter, June McClure, of Hiawassee, GA; sons, John Phillip Kimsey, of Suwanee, GA; Franklin C. Kimsey, of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Lawson and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Pallbearers were: J.C. Canupp, Rodney Underwood, Buddy Allison, Larry Nicholson, Dennis Mathis and Bobby Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were: Brad Davis and Brandon Kimsey. Interment was in Russell cemetery.
