Ray Lawrence Henson

Ray Lawrence Henson, age 88 of Columbia, South Carolina passed away June 22, 2025 after an extended illness. Ray was born April 15, 1937 to the late William and Georgia Mae (Hunter) Henson in Hiawassee, Georgia. He was of Baptist Faith. He served his country for thirty years and also worked in law enforcement for twenty years. He was the last and youngest of eight children.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Estie Nichols; daughter, Patricia Sue Henson; son, Tony Henson. He is survived by his grandchildren, Tracey (William) Hinson, Tiffany (Benjamin) Divers; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Divers, Raylan Divers, Savannah Hinson, Liam Hinson.
