Prucilla Mae Anderson

Prucilla Mae Anderson, age 53, of Hiawassee passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was born in Decatur, Georgia to Wayne Landress and Trucilla Penland on April 17, 1973. Prucilla worked as the manager at Hiawassee renowned local restaurant, Mary’s Southern Grill, for many years, where she served countless patrons with pride and joy. She loved working with the public, and she was known for being a people person at heart. Prucilla was someone who was selfless by nature, always making sure to put the needs of others before herself. She was strong-willed, determined and never took no for an answer. When she was not working, she was spending time enjoying the simple things that brought her happiness. She loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with her five lovely dogs, who were a cherished part of her life. She will forever leave a lasting impact on all of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by parents Wayne (Cynthia) Landress and Trucilla Penland; daughter, Shanna Eveler; brother, John Landress (Rebecca); and grand-daughter, Elowynn Mae Beaver.
