Monroe Kenneth Morgan

Mr. Monroe Kenneth Morgan, age 77 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Sunday, March 03, 2013 at his home following an illness. He was born to parents, Bronce and Leota (Patterson) Morgan on July 06, 1935 in Hayesville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Bronce Morgan; two children; daughter, Sherry Lynn Morgan and son, Kenneth Austin Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Gazette Morgan, of Hiawassee, GA; mother, Leota Morgan, of Blairsville, GA; two sons and daughter-inlaw, Kevin Morgan, of Hayesville, NC; Kerwin and Sandy Morgan, of Hiawassee, GA; one sister, Denise Ballew, of Blairsville, GA; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Nicholson and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Music by The Hunter Family. Pallbearers were: Kyle Morgan, Kery Morgan, Eddie McDonald, Craig Shook, Gary Gibson and Tommy Gibson. Interment was in Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
