Monita Parton Rodgers

Monita Parton Rodgers, age 79, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at her home in Young Harris, Georgia. Monita was born in Hiawassee, Georgia to the late Paul and Ollie Dills Parton on October 25, 1946. Monita was a Life Member of the VFW Auxiliary; she loved to golf and enjoyed her time with her family. She was a loving wife to Bart for 59 years and everyone who knew her loved her. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her above mentioned parents and her brother, Charles Parton. She is survived by her husband, Bart Rodgers; sisters, Barbara Colville, Juanita Briant, Carlotte Parton, Evelyn Mitchell and Charlene Lamb.
