Mildred P. Nichols

Mrs. Mildred P. Nichols, age 66 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Sunday, December
11, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born to the late Robert and Maebell
(Ledford) Patterson on December 15, 1944 in Franklin, NC. She was preceded in
death by a twin sister, Hildred Patterson. She is survived by her husband,
Dominic Nasco, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Danny
Miller, of Warne, NC; Kimberly Rowley, of Perry, GA; son, Greg Nichols, of
Morganton, GA; brothers, Robert Patterson, Jr., of Hayesville, NC; Steve
Patterson, of Hayesville, NC; Mike Patterson, of Hiawassee, GA; Randy Patterson,
of Hayesville, NC; Robin Patterson, of Minlow, GA; Terry Patterson, of
Blairsville, GA; sisters, Janie Barnes, of Hayesville, NC; Susie Smith, of
Homer, GA; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of nieces
and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 14,
2011 at 2:00PM from Chatuge Hills Assembly of God with Rev. Alline Mosteller and
Rev. Danny Holland officiating. Music was provided by The Hogsed Twins.  
Pallbearers were: Jackie Barnes, Johnny Barnes, Gary Barnes, Chris Patterson,
Joel Patterson and Robert Patterson. Honorary pallbearers were: Justin Miller,
Daniel Brunswick and Allan Nichols.  Interment was in Bethel cemetery. Banister
Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
