Michael Craig Wilker

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Wilker, 82, who was taken from us suddenly on March 31st at his home in Young Harris, Ga.

He was born on May 29, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the beloved son of Ann and Alvin Wilker.

Michael grew up with a love for sports and was an accomplished athlete, playing both basketball and baseball at Bishop Egan High School, Levittown, PA where he graduated in 1962.

He later went on to proudly serve his country in the military, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and character.

Michael had an infectious laugh and a compassionate heart. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judith, his sons, Christian (Amber) and Matthew (Bianca); and his cherished grandchildren, Zayleigh, Mikah, Reagan, Hadlee, and Wilder. He is also survived by his siblings: Dennis and Linda Wilker, Barbara and William Castleberg, Joseph and Rose Wilker, and Phillip and Barbara Wilker. Also loved by numerous nephews, nieces and life long friends.

Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
