Merle Hyatt Sutton, age 80, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at his residence. Merle was born in Hiawassee on August 13, 1942 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Cicero and Dovie Berrong Sutton. He worked for General Motors for before retiring. He loved to hunt and spend time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his above mentioned parents; sons, Merle Dean Sutton and Timothy Sutton; brothers, Dennis, R.D., Paul, Davis, Junior, Everrett and Ray Sutton; sister, MaryAnn Bradley.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamra Worley; brothers, Morris and Jerry, Sutton; sisters Rose Stroud and Charlene McDowell and many grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, November 25, 2022 2:00-4:00PM at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home
