Lura Ligon Ingle

Lura Ingle, age 79, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025.

Born on December 24, 1945, Lura dedicated her life to caring for others. A registered nurse for 45 years, she spent three decades in the fast-paced Emergency Room at Greenville General Hospital, where her compassion, strength, and calm presence impacted countless lives. In her free time she enjoyed being outdoors, working in her garden and with her tomato plants. 

Lura was a devoted wife to her husband, T.J. Ingle, and a loving mother to her children and grandchildren: Dana Denise Ingle, Jennifer Taylor Ingle, and Thomas Jay Ingle and four grandchildren. She cherished her family deeply and found joy in simple moments spent together.

She will be remembered not only for her lifelong service in healthcare but also for her grace, determination, and unwavering love for those around her.
