Lois E Townsend

Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Townsend, age 75 of Blairsville, GA passed away on Saturday, January 01, 2011 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Roland Lee and Rushie (Plott) Barnes on June 07, 1935 in Blairsville, GA. She is survived by daughter, Gail Walker, of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Louise Wimpey, of Blairsville, GA; Evelyn Jean Townsend, of Athens, GA; Betty Kilgore, of Buford, GA; granddaughter, Alana Walker; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 03, 2011 at 2:00PM from Old Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
