Lelia Buchanan

Lelia Buchanan, age 93, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Lelia was born October 26, 1932 to Icie Beech in Hayesville, North Carolina. Lelia’s late husband, Cecil Buchanan, was her life. She was a proud breast cancer survivor. Lelia was known for being a hard-worker by all of those who knew her.

Lelia is preceded in death by her mother, Icie Beech, and her sister, Frankie Yancy.
