Faye Rogers

Lathel Faye Rogers, age 88, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Faye was born March 4, 1934 in Hiawassee to the late Edd and Leona (Wood) Rogers. She was a people person who enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and friends. She also loved the community and the history behind Hiawassee, her cats and having a good meal with those in her life. Faye was loved and will be missed by all. A special thank you for the staff at Chatuge Regional nursing home for the love and care they have shown. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Rogers; sisters, Lou Ellen Lynch, Elean Rogers. She is survived in death by her sister in law, Janice Rogers and many extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

 

Visitation: Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church from 12-2pm.

Funeral: Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church at 2 pm with Rev. Wade Lott and Bradley Thomas officiating.

 

Pallbearers: Herman Wood, Bobby Kirby, Bert Rogers, Roger Dyer, Ronnie Dyer, Eddie Osborn, Jerry Wood, William Watson.
