Lady Kate Davis Bryant passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the age of 86 in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Lady Kate was born February 6, 1939 in Cleveland, Tennessee. She attended Alabama Christian College where she met and married the love of her life. She worked alongside her husband in the food industry for most of her life, most notably at Young Harris College for 19 years. She was a devoted member of Hiawassee Church of Christ.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bob Bryant and her two brothers, Glen Davis and Andy Davis. She is survived by son, Ray (Kristi) Bryant, daughter, Ann (Scott) Eller and her pride and joy, granddaughter Vanessa Eller.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens in Young Harris, Georgia at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
Lady Kate will always be remembered for her feisty and strong-willed personality. She had a competitive nature, as she won the State 4H championship for hogs and biscuit making when she was a teenager, Shoney’s Staff Recipe of the Year for carrot soufflé, and enjoyed playing games and solving puzzles with those she loved. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. We will miss her deeply, and her love will live on in each of us.
