Karen Diane Flower

Mrs. Karen Diane Flower, age 66 of Hiawassee, GA passed away peacefully at her home in Hiawassee, GA on Thursday, December 15, 2011 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and friends. She was born in Flint, MI on March 02, 1945. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her children, Kelley Birthisel, of St. Albanas, WV; Tinnia Boggs-Callahan and husband Chris, of Montara, CA; Andrea Kell and husband Scott, of Young Harris, GA; Alan Peters and wife DaLena, of Stapleton, GA; nine grandchildren, Paul Barnes, Cameron Boggs and wife Nichole, Cody Kell and wife Kristy, Alex Callahan, Shelby Kell, Sydney Peters, Brandy Peters, Jesse Kell, Samantha Birthisel,; three great grandchildren, Kendall Barnes, Brayden Boggs and Conner Kell; sister, Sharon Walker; brother, Roger Bailey, many nieces and nephews and her best friend and canine companion, Ginger also survive.. A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 2:00PM. from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Apostle Greg Roberts officiating. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
