John McLain Bennett

John McLain Bennett, age 95, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was born on July 01, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John Pierson and Edith Leyonmark. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne O Liversen. Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Pagano Burke of Hiawassee, GA and Pamela Bensin of East North Port, NY; sons, John P Bennett of Delaware and Jim Bennett of Virginia; five grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Ga in charge of arrangements.
