John Raymond Bell

John Raymond Bell, age 84 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 after an extended illness. John was born April 15, 1941 to the late John and Marjorie (Liberty) Bell in Joliet, Illinois. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi. He retired early after working for thirty-nine years for Commonwealth Edison in Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Corbin. He is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Linda (Hepler) Bell; daughters, Deborah Fly (Phillip Carlini), Brenda (Jason) Klemm; sons, Scott (Andrea) Bell, Andrew (Sandy) Bell, Brian (Julieann) Bell; brother, Michael Bell; grandchildren, Hayley Craig, Jordan (Mariah) Bell, Jacob Bell, Jack Bell, Aidan Bell, Brett Bell, Maggie Klemm, Sara Klemm, Adam Klemm; great-grandchildren, Maylee Craig, Grayson Bell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Appalachian Hospice or St. Vincent de Paul Society St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 3717 GA-515 Blairsville, GA 30512.
