Jann Holub of Hiawassee, GA, born 01/10/1952 in Columbus Ohio passed away peacefully at home with her loving family. Jann led a full and interesting life. She was featured in the Orlando Sentinel for waterskiing at the age of 4 y. o. She is in the Swimming Hall of Fame in Ft. Lauderdale FL. She attended FSU. She worked at AUTEC (Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center) as the first female captain of a US Navy submarine tender. She was a swimsuit model for US Divers magazine. Jann and her husband T.J. were owners of and captains of Sea Dweller dive shop in Key Largo. They lived on their boat the Sea Dweller for 36 years and shared their love and knowledge of scuba diving with many. She loved her 2 Labradors Stoli and Niya who lived on their boat with them. She taught babies to swim for years in Nassau Bahamas. She moved to Hiawassee GA in 2010 and fell in love with the mountains. Because of her sweet nature she made many friends there. She worked at Walgreens for several years. She loved tending flowers and watching the wildlife sitting on her front porch. She got involved with the pickleball community by volunteering at tournaments. Jann leaves behind a loving legacy for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband T.J. Holub, her mom Jane and father Jim Redifer. She is survived by her brother Jim and Sherry Redifer of Waynesville NC. her nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
