Janet Arrowood

Mrs. Janet Arrowood, age 73 of Cornelia, GA (formerly of Hiawassee, GA) passed
away on December 17, 2012 following an extended illness. She was born to the
late Fred and Ola Mae (Dills) Shirley on June 25, 1939 in Cornelia, GA. She is
survived by daughter, Bonnie Cochran, of Cleveland, GA; two sons, Johnny
Arrowood and Fred Shirley both of Cornelia, GA; two brothers, Albert Shirley, of
Cornelia, GA; James Shirley, of Rome, GA; four sisters, Frances Lovell, of
Clarkesville, GA; Brenda Ivester, of Clarkesville, GA; June Wheeler, of Atlanta,
GA; Norma Jean Hightower, of Cornelia, GA; five grandchildren, one great
grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service
was held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM from Boyds Chapel cemetery
with Rev. Josh Cochran officiating. Interment was in Boyds Chapel cemetery in
Hiawassee, GA. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
