Jane Louise Richards

Jane “Jay” Louise Richards, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026. Jay was born February 14, 1947 to the late Jim and Thelma Matlock in Lomita, CA. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Sharp Memorial Methodist Church. She also participated within many community organizations, including the Town County Lions Club and the VFW Auxiliary post 7807. Jay was known for her sharp wit and sarcasm, and was well-loved by her friends and family. She was an avid reader drawn to a good mystery book, and loved to make family photo albums. Jay will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
