Glenn Howard Wright

Glenn Wright, 78, of Young Harris, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home.
Born in McDowell County, NC, he was the son of the late Fred R. and Mae Worley Wright. He was principal at Gateway Elementary School in Travelers Rest before retiring and moving to Young Harris in 2010. As a child and in high school he was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Marion, NC. While living in Travelers Rest he was a member of Clearview Baptist Church and since retiring to Young Harris he was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA.
He is survived by his wife: Edna Seay Wright; children: Kelly Wright Edmundson(Daniel), Kevin Wright; grandson: Solomon Edmundson; sister: Linda Lednum(Ben); and niece: Kim Lednum Hollifield(Travis).
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 1pm until 2pm at The Howze Mortuary.
Memorial services will be Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2pm at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.
