George Clifford Donegan

Mr. George Clifford Donegan, age 83, of Young Harris, GA went home to be with Jesus on June 04, 2013. He was born to the late Marvin and Gertrude (Harris) Donegan on June 06, 1929 in Atlanta, GA. He was a founding member of The Mountain Computer User’s Group since 1988. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and U.S. Marine. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Nancy H. Donegan, of Young Harris, GA; son, Larry G. Donegan; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey “Glenn” Donegan (Temme); daughter and son-in-law, Robin C. Taylor (Darren); grandson, Andrew M. Baglin, whom is currently an E-4 in the U.S. Army; granddaughter and husband, Candice Holder (Dana); three great grandchildren, Chase, Dalee and Anna Cate; sisters, Dot Simpson, Mary Cooper (Harris); brother, Robert “Bob” Donegan (Dot); nieces, nephews and numerous friends also survive. A Celebration of Life service was held on Friday, June 07, 2013 at 2:00 PM from McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations and contributions may be made to McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Mr. Donegan’s memory. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
