Gary William Leonhardt

Mr. Gary William Leonhardt, age 64, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 following an extended illness. Gary was born on November 14, 1957 to the late George and Doris (Shaffer) Leonhardt in Miami, Florida. He attended McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA via U-Tube. Gary was a Pharmacist, and Alumni of UT-Austin, TX. He also served his country for a number of years as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. Gary enjoyed playing the piano, reading, hiking, and sailing with his wife Debbie. He was a kind hearted, gentle, understanding and sweet husband for 38 years. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Mary Leonhardt; sisters, Lori Leonhardt and Lisa Leonhardt; and a host of relatives and friends.
