Floy L Wood

Mrs. Floy Lena Wood, age 89 of Hiawassee passed away Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born to the late Tom and Lula (Taylor) Presley on March 12, 1921 in Hiawassee. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was a hostess for the Exhibitors of the Georgia Mountain Fair since 1957. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Woodfin "Woody" Wood.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Hancock (Nat) of Gainesville; son, Stanley Wood (Karen) of Hiawassee; grandchildren, Kim Chichester (Pat), Stan Wood (Spring), Sherman Wood (Terri), Kevin Hancock (Christina) and Shenar Wood (Isabella); and 12 great grandchildren.
