Edith Lillian Edwards

Edith Lillian Edwards, age 78, of Hayesville, NC passed away on January 26, 2015 following an extended illness. She was born in Hayesville, NC on September 16, 1936 to the late Lyle and Montaree Parker. She was known as a hard worker who never spent a minute resting. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Diane Edwards; brother, Ellis Tommy Parker; sisters, Madge Champion, Willa Mae Hogsed and Betty Hendrix. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Shelby Edwards of Chatsworth, GA and her sister, Azzlee Ledford of Hayesville, NC. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Burch Cemetery with Rev. David Berrong officiating. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA in charge of arrangements.
