Doreen London

Doreen Christine London of Hiawassee, Ga passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Doreen was born August 13, 1947 to the late Wilbur and Doris Lundberg. Doreen is preceded in death by her father and mother, Wilbur and Doris Lundberg; husband David London; brothers, Hartley Billard, Dennis Lundberg, and Norman Lundberg. Doreen is survived by her children, Wayne London (Mindy), Brad London (Kimberly), and Allison Kirsch (Ryan); her grandchildren, Joey, Tony, Dayna, Darrin, Matthew, Ty, Piper, Casey, and Mia; and her brother-in-law, Michael London and her beloved dog Buttons.

Doreen and her late husband, David, owned London Platers for a number of years before retiring to beautiful Hiawassee, Georgia. She was a volunteer at Cast Away Critters Cat Rescue and Chatuge Regional Nursing Home for nineteen years, being recognized from the state of Georgia in 2017 for being volunteer of the year for her dedication. During her free time she was a bodybuilder, and enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons with her husband David. Doreen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and she will be greatly missed.
